In the Amazigh language, Amanar is the name of the Orion constellation — the stars nomads follow to find their way. That is exactly the idea behind this house: a landmark on the Atlantic. We host a deliberately small circle of residents — never the crowd. The residency stays small; the restaurant table and some classes are open to outside guests on reservation. It is a community that forms around surfing, yoga and the ocean, not a place people pass through.
